I had the good fortune of meeting Joe Pluta at a time when I was engaged in one of the most significant business and personal transactions of my life – the purchase of my retirement dream – a condo in a faraway island paradise – Maui.

There are not many “no surprise” deals!
Once the condo was purchased, Joe has provided rental management services of an unprecedented quality.
Unfortunately, I must still work in Canada and cannot spend all my time in Maui. So, Joe’s team inspected, cleaned, refurbished and marketed the condo in record time to make it ready for our 1st guests’ arrival a mere ten days after the purchase.
Joe responds quickly and clearly to enquiries and he is very knowledgeable and patient in explaining such matters as Hawaii State Tax, U.S. Income Tax, Maui Property Taxes, utility services, maintenance fees and lease payments. I couldn’t ask for better service than I have experienced. I’m not easily impressed but Joe’s thorough, honest and humble effectiveness has made me a true admirer. Look up “professional” in your dictionary and there may just be a picture of Joe Pluta!

I have had my Papakea condominium C-307 for approximately 25 years. During this time I have always had Mr. Joseph Pluta as my rental agent. I have found that all of my dealings with Mr. Pluta were of the highest quality. As a businessman myself, in retail for over 40 years, I have never dealt with anyone who so obviously held himself to the highest standard. Having had no experience previously with rental property I found that I could always rely on Mr. Pluta’s advice.
Not only has he managed my property well, he has done so with little or no guidance from me. Due to business obligations I didn’t visit my property for several years before 1992 and when I finally did I found it to be in perfect condition. Then from 1992 until now I didn’t visit it at all, at first due to health conditions and then I relocated to Mexico in 1998, and yet, when I decided to sell, the condo was in such good condition that it brought a top price.
Not only did he manage my property well, but with his rental expertise he always managed to get me a better rental return than the other management companies at Papakea.
